Excerpt from A Compendium of the War of the Rebellion

A Compendium of the War of the Rebellion was written by Frederick H. Dyer. It has gone through a few printings, most recently published by Morningside Press in 1979. Nonetheless, it too is considered 'out-of-print' and a rare book.

If you're interested in owning it, Barnes & Noble has information on obtaining a copy (albeit at a hefty price!), or check your local library; I know that the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County has at least one copy.
