Individual Notes
- It has been suggested that Benjamin and his (supposed) brother Job arethe same individual.Benjamin's 1880 census entry indicates he had a brother, John, aged 23,living in his household. If Benjamin IS William Gilkison's son, thenwho is 'John'? Not 'John F Gilkison', as he is enumerated in WilliamGilkison's household in 1880 (in fact, a few pages later), and his ageis given as '25'. If William DID have a second son named John around1857, then that fact is not corraborated by William's 1860 census entry(where John, presumably would have appeared, age 3).
